An eBook is an (Electronic-BOOK) The electronic counterpart of a printed book, which can be viewed on a desktop computer, laptop, smartphone or e-book reader, ipad or other tablet device. When traveling, a large number of e-books can be stored in portable units, dramatically eliminating weight and volume compared to paper. Electronic bookmarks make referencing easier, and e-book readers may allow the user to annotate pages. Formats: PDF format eBooks can be read on most any device. (Some devices such as PCs require a free downloadable Adobe Acrobat program from Adobe to view PDF files.) EPUB format eBooks can be read on most devices except Kindle. (Some devices such as PCs require a free downloadable the Adobe Digital Editions program from Adobe to view EPUB files.)
