Diminishing The Darkness By Lifting Up The Marvelous Light Of Jesus Christ

From the Editor... by Tim Greenwood
Satan wants you to believe that your decision-making process is based upon weighing bad probabilities against good probabilities. And that sounds completely logical to the un-renewed mind. That then adds to that statistical probability, which would make one believe that these decisions will always balance out over time due to a statistical 50-50 chance of making the right decision.  Right? Wrong!

Because the basic premise is incorrect the lie of the devil is made clear.

Your decision-making process is not between probabilities, good and evil, light and dark, God’s word and Satan’s word.

Your decision-making process is between the devil’s totally twisted and inverted  probabilities and God’s REALITIES.

God doesn’t operate in probabilities. Jesus overcame and fulfilled all of the probabilities and turned them into realities as a finished work.

Your decision-making process is designed by God to be made from the superposition of you the spirit man, the real you, in ascendancy. So you must take dominion and control of your soul (mind, will and emotions) and your body.

If and when your soul or body is in that superposition, or ascendancy, your decision-making process is impaired and your spirit’s communication with the Holy Spirit is also impaired.

If the soul is in the superposition and fear comes, like a deer in the headlights, the soul (mind, will and emotions) steps completely aside for your spirit to take over. Now depending on what you have fed into your spirit via your five senses, particularly through the eyes and the ears, whatever is in your spirit, in an emergency, is what will come out of your mouth.

If the world, the Dr.’s report, fear or probability of something bad fills your spirit, then that is what will be contractually converted into reality by what comes out of your mouth.

But, if the word of God (His realities) is what fills your spirit, then that word, His good faith offer will be converted into the reality of a good faith contractual relationship, verbally between you and God as it comes out of your mouth  TGM

Be BOLD

Those are two excellent admonitions in the best of times. However, we are not living in the best of times; we are living in the end of times. One has only to turn on the news to hear of horrific murders, dreaded diseases, heart-rending neglect and abuse of children, and almost weekly acts of terrorism. It staggers the mind and emotions to think just how frightening the world has become in a few short years. We are witness to ripe conditions for fulfillment of Luke 21:26 “Men’s hearts failing them for fear….”

Even Christians fall prey to fear, that oft-used tool of the devil. And we should know better. In the list of traits which condemn mankind to the lake of fire, fear is listed first, even before murder and sorcery. Why does God put such emphasis on fear? Fear is the evil twin of faith. Fear means you have more faith in what the devil can do than what God the Father can do. When you were a kid, would you ever have considered telling your dad, “I don’t believe you keep your promises; you can’t deliver on what you said you would do.” That never crossed my mind in my house. My father had his shortcomings, but whatever he promised me I could take to the bank. Our heavenly Father has NO shortcomings, but embodies truth, mercy and unfolding grace. His own word tells us He cannot lie. It is just not in His nature.

We need to take a page from Deuteronomy 31: Be strong and of a good courage…the Lord thy God will go with thee, and He will not fail or forsake thee (paraphrased). There are too many passive Christians out there, and that won’t get the job done. I’m not saying to constantly be in someone’s face, but neither should we stand meekly by and let the devil and his army trample over our rights as God’s children.

The Father made a good faith agreement that He would look after His people, protect them, meet their needs, and prosper them. We have our part to play, in that we promise to be faithful and committed to Him, doing justly and walking in His ways.

Did you know that God hates bondage of any kind? Check Luke 13 to read Jesus’ reaction to a woman who had been crippled by a spirit for 18 years… bent over and could not straighten up at all. He didn’t wait to be asked. He spoke over her, laid hands on her and loosed her immediately. Then He answered the Pharisees who rebuked Him for healing on the Sabbath – should not this daughter of Abraham be made whole? Most, if not all the bondage in our lives, comes from Satan, whether it is a crippling disease, an abusive relationship, lack of security, or anything which steals our joy and peace.

What can we do? Feed on His Word every day. Tithe of your time, not just of your income. Put away time-robbing entertainments to which we have grown addicted. Become an enforcer of the rights and privileges your Father has given. I heard a great definition of “enforce” – to execute with a vengeance. No person of weak will or spirit does anything with a vengeance. We need bold, strong spirits because our enemy has declared war on us. We don’t build up our spiritual warrior muscle and skills by lounging on the couch watching TV. King David blessed the “Lord my strength, which teaches my hands to war and my fingers to fight.”

If we are strong in the Lord, He will help us fight these battles against bondage by spirits, men or even governments. And He will give us the vision and wisdom of how to do so. But we must be strong and bold. God will not usurp authority over our will. We must choose to resist all the devil’s tricks, even if they appear in the guise of inclusiveness and acceptance.  We cannot accommodate and accept the immoral, unjust, irreverent attitudes and public policies that are causing judgment to come upon our nation.

We must exercise our authority left to us by Jesus. And because we have authority, we can exercise great influence in prayer over our families, communities, cities, states and the nation. Pray fervently that men and women led by the Spirit of God would come to sit in the Congress, in the courts, in the nation’s cabinet and in the Oval Office. “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice, but when the wicked bear rule, the people mourn”, Proverbs 29:2. We have mourned for many years, and it is time for a change. These are very dangerous times, but a bold and strong Christian is prepared and supported by the Father to make this time of danger into a time of victory.   So be bold, be strong, and be a force working in the name of Jesus!. An amazing Job
God bless you. I want to let you know what a blessing your book was to me and others I’ve shared it with. It turned my faith around, praise God! I look at things differently now and thank you so very much for giving me this amazing book for free. I teach a home Bible study and your book, “Walking in Faith,” has been an inspiration to us all. Please send me ten more copies to fulfill my promise to get everyone a copy.
After I read the book, I put my faith to the test and began praising God for my husband’s new job, he was out of work for two years. Well, I’m happy to say that he not only got a job, but one that only God could have provided!
