Too many Christians use the word "Christ" as a replacement or synonym for Jesus.
God gave His Son a Name to which every other name in the universe is to
bow. That name is Jesus. There is power in the name of
Jesus. Jesus is the name that is above every other name that is
named.
"Christ" is NOT Jesus' name. "Christ" is WHAT He is – not WHO He is.
"Christ" means "The anointed one" or refers to the anointing that Jesus
is anointed with. The Jews refer to this anointed one as "the
Messiah," for whom they await to bring them redemption.
As part of a Christian's new birth and acceptance of Jesus as our
Savior, Redeemer, Lord and King, we also accept Him as the prophesied
Messiah. But note that Savior, Redeemer, Lord, King and Messiah
represent WHAT Jesus is and that "Jesus" is His NAME.
Why is this important?
This is important because everything that we do, as Christians, is done
- operating as duly appointed deputies with legal power of attorney -
to do everything He did - in the NAME of Jesus.
Sickness, disease and demonic beings will not leave – in the name of
the Messiah, the Savior, the Redeemer, the Lord or the King. They
will however leave in the NAME of Jesus.
Too many churches today regularly use the title "Christ" as a synonym,
if not replacement, for His NAME – Jesus – and then wonder why there is
little or no power there.
Jesus, in Mark 16:17-18 said this about Christian believers: In
my name shall they cast out demons; In my name they shall speak
with new tongues; In my name they shall not be hurt by any deadly
thing, not even snake venom or poison; In my name they shall lay hands
on the sick, and the sick shall recover.

JESUS IS LORD

Jesus is LORD. But, in what way is Jesus your LORD? Have you really even thought about it?
The primary usage of the title LORD prior to and during the life of
King James was an indication that one bearing that title was the owner
of land or other real property.
(Haggai 2:8) The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, says the LORD.
(Psalms 50:10) For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.
(Exodus 19:3-5) And the LORD called unto Moses out of the mountain, saying - all the earth is mine:
The Earth and everything in or upon it belongs to the LORD.
Another household usage of the title indicated that one was the male head of the family, manor or house.
(1 Corinthians 11:3) But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ -
(Ephesians 1:22) And has put all things under his feet, and gave
him to be the head over all things to the church (or assembly).
(Colossians 1:18) And he is the head of the body, the church: who
is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he
might have the preeminence.
I have made Jesus LORD over my immediate family just as Father God has made Him the Head over the family of God.
The origin of the word Lord is the Middle English word loverd' which
is the concatenation of ‘loaf ward' referring to being the holder or
keeper of the bread.
(John 6:33) For the bread of God is he who comes down from heaven, and gives life unto the world.
(John 6:35) And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life.
(Matthew 26:26, Mark 14:22, Luke 22:19, 1 Corinthians 11:24)
Jesus took bread, blessed it, and broke it, and gave to them, and said,
take, eat: this is my body.
Jesus is the ward, keeper and guardian of the bread of life, and the holder of the bread from whom you partake of communion.
Did you know that the one that we now know as Jesus was also the LORD of the Old Testament? Most people don't.
Jesus, according to the first chapter of the book of John, also
referred to as the Word and the Light, was there from the very
beginning. In the first chapter of Genesis, the Hebrew word for
God, Elohiym, is plural and portrays what we call the Trinity of the
Godhead right from the beginning.
Everything that was created in the book of Genesis was made by Him and
for Him. It all belongs to Him. It was through Him that all
life and enlightenment came.
It was He that made the earth and the heavens; created mankind;
contracted with Noah to build the ark; appeared to Abraham, Isaac,
Jacob and Moses; led the children of Israel out of Egypt in pillars of
clouds and columns of fire; gave Moses the tablets of stone and set up
every legal precedent that He would later need to take our place upon
the cross of execution. It was our LORD Jesus all along.
The title LORD is NOT synonymous with King or Saviour.
(1 Timothy 6:15) Jesus, who in his own good timing shall show,
who is really the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and
Lord of lords.
The King is the lifetime ruler of a kingdom, the LORD is the owner of
property and head of household in that kingdom, and a saviour is that
hero who comes to rescue you, save you or deliver you. Jesus is
all three! So, first and foremost, Jesus is my King. Jesus
is also my Saviour. And, Jesus is LORD. TGM

We Are In The Jesus Business!
Yes, we write
books and we record audios and we even shoot videos and make them
available for sale. But we are not in that business. Jesus is our only business.
You see, we
don't have any children to continue Tim Greenwood Ministries when we
are gone. We don't have a congregation from which to send people out to
spread the good news and proclaim the revelations that He has made
known to us. And, God told us that this is how we are to duplicate ourselves. Therefore, these resources are the only legacy and ministry that we be able to leave behind.
So, we encourage you to obtain these resources as an investment in your future and the future of your family.
