Are
you enjoying an "abundant life," right here, right now? God wants
you to have and enjoy the best in life. John 10:10 says that we can
have that abundant life.
As we all should know, the very best of everything comes through His
Son, Jesus. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
The word "abundance" means: superior quality, plenteous, affluence and wealth.
God doesn't want you to "just endure through to the end." He doesn't
want His children eating the crumbs that fall from the table. He wants
us to be the head and not the tail. He wants His church to be the
example and the light to the rest of the world.
The Word of God, the truth, sets us free from "settling" with whatever comes our way in life.
We can have it all: salvation, grace, righteousness, healing, deliverance, joy, prosperity and on and on it goes.
Ephesians 3:20 says: Now to Him who is able to do exceeding, abundantly
above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.
Yes, Satan does come in to try to deceive and steal our blessings, but
we know the truth don't we? He has no power, Jesus striped him of it!
If your life isn't as abundant as it should be in some areas then don't
give up! Speak God's Word, act on God's Word and live God's Word
daily. You will be victorious in all areas of your life and your
life will become full of joy full of the great abundance of God's love
and blessings.
And another great thing - you can turn around and bless others out of your abundance!

The
Importance of God's Word

Is the Word of God important enough to you so that you will not allow anyone or anything steal it from you?
Ephesians 6:10 tells us to be strong in the Lord and the power of His
might. You see, we cannot do anything on our own or by our own
might. You and I must be fully equipped and empowered, in this
day and age, to fight against anyone or anything that comes up against
us in battle.
Just any weapons and armor won't work to defeat the enemy. We
must put on the full armor of God so we can stand against the devil's
wiles.
Have you ever noticed that the devil comes against us so many times in
the same way he did the time before and the time before that? The devil
does not have many different "tricks up his sleeve." He travels a few
roads, we should be able to spot him coming and cut off his tricky ways
before he strikes.
The phrase in verse 13, "take unto you" in the Greek language means
"repetition, intensity, seize for yourself and be busy about using."
The weapons of our warfare are powerful to the pulling down of
strongholds. Pulling down is getting rid of - once and for all!
The breastplate can attach to, or is near the belt, which is the Word
of God. It fits tight to our bodies like a corset so it can
protect our heart. We have been made righteous by
Jesus!
We must guard our hearts, allowing nothing or no one to steal God's blessings and His truth from us.
The words "Having done all to stand" means this is a commitment, an
occupation; there must be no backing down once we begin on this journey.
Hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering, for He is
faithful who promised. God gives us "His Word" in good faith. We
must take it, speak it and stand firm while acting in faith to receive
something.
The meaning of " hold fast" from the Greek is taken from two compound
words Kata and Echo. Kata is something that comes downward so
hard and heavy that it can be overpowering and dominating to bring
something under the total control of someone.
Echo means "I have," meaning possession of.
These two words used together means rushing towards something and
picking it up and holding it close to us -NEVER letting it go, even to
the point of staking your territory and sitting on it so it won't be
taken away. It is like wrapping your arms of faith around
something you are believing God for, and you won't let go for anyone or
anything.
When a soldier drew his sword in battle - he intended to use it
effectively, not just to scare the enemy but to kill him and take him
down.
So we must stand - continuing in our covenant with our good faith;
never doubting that the weapons will do what their purpose is - if used
properly.
Look all around us. The times we are living in now are rough all around
us. Do not hesitate! Now is the time to put our armor on
and learn how to effectively use it so we can bring the enemy down each
and every time he tries to come around to steal something from us.
This armor (Jesus' very own) is tried and true and every time we use it we will win the victory!
The very Word of God, spoken from His very lips, written down and
preserved for us in the Bible is the very "lifeline" we must cling to
daily.
We live in this world, but we don't have to suffer through the failing
economy, political lies, sickness, defeat, fear or even worry.
It is time for you and I to make God's Word first place in our hearts;
living God's way in this world is the most important thing we can do to
show the world that there is a better way, there is a right way to
live, and living this way produces blessings all the time. TGM
